We successfully carried out the construction of Outering and Thika Road Sewers project in the Nairobi Metropolitan area. The project aimed to enhance access to reliable sanitation facilities, improve water quality, and restore the riparian ecosystem within the city.

The project received funding from the Government of Kenya and was implemented by the Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation through the Athi Water Works Development Agency (AWWDA).

The scope of works included:

• The construction of 3km of DN225 to DN450 sewer lines, providing relief to existing sewer lines and introducing additional sewer lines in the Northern Region of Nairobi. Installation of precast manholes and backdrops with a nominal bore of 1200mm.
• Sewer and manhole unblocking, de-silting, and cleaning activities were conducted to optimize system performance.
• Construction of 1000 sewer household connections and sewer road crossing works.
